Legal disclaimer

Mountain activities take place in a natural environment where conditions can change rapidly and objective risks cannot be completely eliminated. By participating in a guided activity with AC Mountain Guiding, participants acknowledge these inherent risks and agree to act responsibly and respectfully toward the guide, the group, and the mountain environment. The goal of AC Mountain guiding is to provide safe, enjoyable, and meaningful mountain experiences through careful preparation, sound decision-making, and adaptability to conditions.

Registration

Registration can be made by email, phone, or through the website contact form. A booking becomes binding once confirmed by AC Guiding. Participants will receive practical information regarding equipment, meeting points, timing, and the planned itinerary before the activity.

Pricing

Recommended minimum daily rates for mountain guide aspirants fluctuate between 400 € in Italy and 520 CHF in Switzerland. As I operate on both sides of the Alps, including France and Austria and  with different customers, tours are priced according to the local average as a reference. Minimum daily rates are valid for one guest and easy tour, extra charges apply for more participants and difficulty. Depending on the activity and the itinerary the maximum number of participants may vary. 2 guests for rock and ice-climbing, up to 5 or 6 for glacier tour ski tour and climbing courses. The table below offer an idea of the per person cost depending on the group size.

What is included in the price

Included: guiding services, tour planning, and group safety equipment where specified. Not included: travel expenses, accommodation, meals, lift tickets, (including those of the guide) parking fees, rental equipment, personal insurance, rescue costs, and any expenses not explicitly listed as included.

Programme Changes

Mountain activities are highly dependent on weather, snow, ice, rock conditions, and the abilities of participants. For safety reasons, AC Mountain Guiding reserves the right to modify the itinerary, change the objective, adjust the programme, postpone, or cancel an activity at any time. No guarantee can be given regarding the successful completion of a planned route, summit, or objective. Any decision made by the guide concerning the conduct of the activity is final and shall be respected by all participants. Whenever possible, a suitable alternative objective or programme will be proposed.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are generally handled with flexibility and common sense. However, late cancellations or no-shows may incur costs, especially when accommodation, transportation, lift tickets, guides, or other reservations have already been confirmed. If an activity must be cancelled due to unsafe mountain or weather conditions, participants may choose between: rescheduling, an alternative activity, or a refund when applicable.

Requirements for Participation

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they possess:
• adequate physical fitness,
• the technical level required for the planned activity,
• suitable clothing and equipment,
• and appropriate health conditions for mountain activities.
If a participant does not meet the required conditions and this compromises safety or the group experience, AC Mountain Guiding reserves the right to modify or interrupt the activity for that participant or the entire group.
